The Letter P, colored Popcorn and Weekly Round Up

So we are on our second meeting of the week. We are going to review the colors, our first monkey song and this week's new section, parts of the body. To celebrate the colors we are making colored popcorn, for the older kids and colored corn flakes for the younger kids.

We are talking, eating and creating masterpieces that use the colors we have come to love.
I am so proud of how well the kids are doing, every time they speak so confidently in English, My name is... And sing the songs, it makes my heart swell

Learn the names for the parts of body! TESL

This week is all about Head Shoulders Knees and Toes… The parts of the body.

Print your copy of our coloring sheet for this great song.

The kids learned this song, in one lesson, but memorizing a song and really knowing the words are two different things. The homework this week is to teach the song to a family member.

We will play games, color pictures and really ensure that the parts of the body vocabulary are a part of their language base.

Have a great day!

We had a snack the girls loved today.

Special apple slices.

Color Wonderful week continues

This week we are going to continue to learn the colors in fun ways.

We are playing candy land with the colors and pictures of the animals from last week's book. Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Continue to practice it at home and point out things in the house that have the various colors.

For example, yellow duck, what in this room is Yellow?

The kids are doing very well so far this year and I am very proud of their achievements.
The confidence they have in what they are learning is very rewarding. Ask your child What is your name? and our latest conversation addition, How was your day?

We are also playing the Memory game and Sorry. Games are a great way to practice language.
